What is a mobile theme?

A theme is what we see on the PDA screen. This includes a background image and color of the main elements of the desktop (upper and lower bars etc.), text color, that is, in general, the whole picture that we see on the screen.

How to install a theme on the Pocket PC?

To install a theme, first download a ready-made theme to your computer, and then copy it to the PDA. Then click on the theme file .tsk in the file explorer, or select it in the Today control panel applet. Or just download a theme right to the PDA using the mobile Internet and install the theme by clicking on the file .tsk.

Where to get a ready-made theme?

Ready-made themes are usually created by users of handhelds, companies involved in developing software for PDAs, individual professional designers. The first are amateurs who practice in design and create their own individual themes which no one else has. Often, they post their creative themes in the Internet for free access, although the quality of such themes often leaves much to be desired. Companies and professional designers develop themes to sell them or present them as bonuses to their customers. When someone asks me what the best new digital camera is, I always have to pause a little. The reason I pause, is to ask myself a few questions about the person asking the question. The Canon PowerShot SD1000 Digital Elph, or the Sony Cybershot DSCW55 would be good choices for you. If your the real rugged outdoorsy type, I might change my pick to the Olympus Stylus 790SW for its toughness and all-weatherproof design.

But, maybe your more of a casual photographer, that only pulls out the camera for special occasions and vacation. Tight blue jeans aren’t much of an issue anymore, so you don’t mind a little extra bulk . . . in the camera I mean. Something easy to use, with better image and video quality then your cell phones camera are a priority. In this case, I’d suggest either the Canon Powershot A570IS, or the Canon PowerShot Pro Series S5. The S5 is about twice the money in the low $300 range, but the extra 12X zoom, sturdier construction, and hot shoe flash make it well worth the investment.

For those who love to share photos of their travels, the right camera is as important a travel accessory as the best backpack or your passport. But choosing among the many kinds and styles of cameras available can be tricky. If you’re getting ready to head out for a trip overseas, consider which factors are most important to you in choosing a camera for your travels.

Which Camera is Right for Me?

Cell phone cameras are convenient and fun for quick snapshots with your friends, but the picture quality you’ll get with a cell phone camera is questionable at best. Unless you’re planning to limit your picture-taking to quickly uploaded snapshots of friends and scenes, your cell phone camera probably won’t cut it.

They’re still small enough to pack for your trip and easy to carry, though they won’t quite fit in your pocket. For all but the most dedicated picture takers, EVF digital cameras will fill their needs.
